Her strategic leadership and commitment to excellence have played a key role in shaping ABHT into the trusted training organisation it is today.

Passionate about creating opportunities through education, Kylie believes that quality training has the power to change lives. She is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards while fostering a positive, supportive culture for both staff and students. Courtney is at the heart of ABHT's operations, ensuring the systems, processes and people behind the scenes work seamlessly to support our students, trainers and industry partners.

With a background in hospitality and administration, Courtney combines exceptional organisational skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach. She is passionate about creating efficient systems, improving processes and making sure every student enjoys a positive experience from enrolment through to completion.

Known for her reliability, professionalism and attention to detail, Courtney is an integral part of the ABHT team. Outside of ABHT, Courtney enjoys spending time with her partner, their dog Alfie and cat Lola, long walks, discovering great food and wine, and making the most of time with family and friends.

As the organisation's longest serving staff member, she has played an integral role in helping build the strong foundations that continue to support the business today. With more than 40 years of administrative experience, Petrina brings exceptional organisation, professionalism and attention to detail to everything she does, ensuring our team, students and trainers are supported every step of the way.

Affectionately known as the "mother hen" of the office. Always ready to lend a hand, keep things organised, and look after everyone around her, Petrina enjoys working collaboratively towards shared goals and believes there's always something new to learn.

Outside of ABHT, Petrina loves spending time with her family, especially her grandson. She's a proud fan of 80s music, enjoys a good laugh and brings warmth, kindness and a wonderful sense of humour to the team every day.

Makayla's journey with ABHT is a great example of where training and opportunity can lead.

After completing a Business Traineeship with ABHT and achieving her Certificate III in Business, Makayla joined the team as a Certified Administration Assistant. Having experienced the training journey herself, she understands the importance of supporting students every step of the way.

With a background in hospitality and a strong focus on customer service, Makayla brings a positive attitude, excellent organisational skills and a genuine passion for helping others. Whether she's assisting students, supporting the administration team or keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, she's an important part of the ABHT team.

With extensive hands-on experience as a qualified chef, café manager and hospitality professional, she brings a wealth of practical knowledge to every training session. Her industry experience, combined with her positive and engaging approach, helps students feel supported, challenged and ready for the workplace.

Known for her enthusiasm, reliability and genuine commitment to her students, Catelyn goes above and beyond to create a learning environment where people can grow in both skill and confidence. She believes every student has potential and takes great pride in helping them discover what they're capable of.

Karen is ABHT's Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Specialist, helping experienced hospitality professionals gain nationally recognised qualifications for the skills they've developed throughout their careers.

Specialising in RPL for Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma of Hospitality qualifications, Karen guides candidates through a personalised and supportive assessment process, transforming years of practical industry experience into formal qualifications.

Her commitment to students and employers sees her travelling extensively across Queensland; from metropolitan venues to regional and remote communities, ensuring businesses and individuals have access to quality training and assessment, wherever they're located.

Drew is passionate about sharing that experience, helping students develop the practical skills, confidence and professionalism needed for successful careers in hospitality.

Drawing on his experience working with STEPS and supporting people with disability, Drew creates an inclusive and encouraging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their potential. His patient, supportive approach and genuine passion for mentoring make him a trusted trainer for students from all walks of life.

As a former café owner and hospitality professional, Paula understands the industry from every perspective: employee, leader and business owner.
